Transfer round-up: Barco joins Chelsea; Juventus buy Alajbegovic, Kolo Muani

Valentin Barco became Chelsea’s seventh signing of the transfer window on Sunday after joining from sister club Strasbourg on a seven-year deal. Barco, who can play as a full-back and a midfielder, was part of Argentina’s squad that finished runners-up at the recent FIFA World Cup.
Meanwhile, Italian giants Juventus completed the signing of Bosnian teenager Kerim Alajbegovic on a five-year deal from Bayer Leverkusen, and also purchased striker Randal Kolo Muani from PSG for an initial fee of €38mn (approx Rs 417 crore).
Later in the day, German club Borussia Dortmund announced the signing of teenage Greek forward Konstantinos Karetsas from Belgium’s Genk on a five-year deal, for a reported fee of €30mn (approx Rs 329cr).
