Manchester United and England great David Beckham’s wife, Victoria, has revealed that the celebrity couple’s first few dates took place in car parks as they tried to keep their relationship under wraps.
“We had quite a few dates in car parks because we were really under the spotlight at that time. My mum would drop me off and I would get into David’s car, and we would spend hours talking and getting to know each other privately before anyone knew we were dating,” Victoria said on a recent episode of the Today with Jenna and Sheinelle podcast.
The couple reportedly met for the first time at a Manchester United game in 1997. They got engaged in 1998 and tied the knot in 1999. They have four children: Brooklyn, 27, Romeo, 24, Cruz, 21, and Harper, 15.
David, 51, is now the owner of Major League Soccer (MLS) side Inter Miami, while Victoria, 52, runs her own fashion brand and a separate cosmetics company.
